Police Officers Hand Out Turkeys Instead of Traffic Tickets for Thanksgiving

The Laredo, Texas, Police Department stopped a number of drivers in the city on November 17 for various traffic violations, but instead of giving them tickets, the officers presented them with Thanksgiving turkeys.The officers carried out the deeds as part of Operation Peacemaker, a non-profit police organization, to help people celebrate the holiday.
