The Lakers are just 7-5 straight up on their home court this season. They come off a road trip where they lost two of three games with their only win coming against a bad New Orleans team. On Friday night they are beaten soundly by the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-108 as a +7 ½ point underdog. LA lost control of this game in the second quarter and were behind by margin throughout the second half. The Lakers make a few three pointers late to make the score look more respectable. Their last home game prior to start their road trip they lose 113-103 to Orlando. We have seen some poor defensive efforts by the Lakers in their losses lately where they are giving up points in bunches. Pau Gasol has been troubled by knee tendinitis and missed the past three games. He is doubtful on Sunday. Gasol is going through a miserable season where he is averaging career lows in many offensive categories.
