Huge 3-D Printing Factory Opens In NYC

Shapeways, a 3-D printing company based in the Netherlands, calls on New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg to open a 25,000-square-foot "Factory of the Future" in Long Island City, Queens that will house between 30 and 50 industrial 3-D printers.
