The protest follows the ED filing a chargesheet against Congress leaders Rahul and Sonia Gandhi in connection with the National Herald. “All of us are present here together at the Congress office because Govt is doing injustice to Congress, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. So, we call this vendetta politics. They have kept one issue burning for years and remember it every few days. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were granted bail in this matter in 2015. We are trying to understand the intent behind the chargesheet filed today. Rahul Gandhi is getting more aggressive in Gujarat now, Bihar elections are coming up, so they will have to remind people...Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have not laundered even one property, even 1 paisa...,” said Mumtaz Patel. “Our people are agitated, public is agitated, Congress workers are agitated.
