General Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah is the current Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, having assumed the position on November 29, 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Director-General of Military Intelligence and later as the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
