Federal Judge Temporarily Halts Trump’s Federal Worker Resignation Incentive Plan

A federal judge has temporarily halted President Donald Trump's incentive plan for federal workers to resign before Thursday's midnight deadline. Judge George O'Toole Jr. paused the initiative pending a hearing on Monday, to assess a lawsuit filed by federal employee unions. More than 40,000 federal employees accepted the resignation offer with pay until September 30, though some expressed confusion about its terms.
