Former military lawyer sentenced to 5 years, 8 months in jail

Former military lawyer David McBride has been jailed for five years and eight months for stealing and sharing classified material with journalists. McBride pleaded guilty to three charges last year after the defences he planned to rely on in a jury trial were ruled inadmissible by the court.
