Alice Springs residents forced to represent themselves amid lawyer shortage

In Alice springs, some of the country's most vulnerable residents are being forced to represent themselves in court because of a severe lawyer shortage. It all started late last year, when one of northern Australia's most important legal services stopped taking on new matters in the outback town as it battled internal chaos and a mass exodus of staff.
