IPL 2021: Pat Cummins, Andre Russell Showed KKR's Batting Depth, Says Morgan

Chasing 221 for a win against Chennai Super Kings at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders looked hopelessly lost at 31 for five wickets inside the powerplay. Then Andre Russell slammed a 21-ball fifty to fashion a dramatic shift. His knock was followed by a 23-ball fifty by Pat Cummins as KKR threatened to script a stunning turnaround. KKR lost the match by 18 runs but Kolkata captain Eoin Morgan, woefully out of form, was happy that his middle and lower-middle order have finally come good. After Wednesday's match vs CSK, KKR have just one win from four matches and seem to be struggling for a playoff berth.
