Robodebt victims' details released to media in bid to deter them from speaking out, royal commission told

A former media advisor to coalition government minister Alan Tudge has explained how they deterred robodebt victims from speaking out by releasing their personal information. Rachelle Miller told a royal commission the government also used right wing news outlets to counter negative coverage of the illegal scheme.
