New Zealand couple with 'gem fever' spending every winter 12 metres underground in Qld

We've all fantasized after a fabulous holiday about quitting our day jobs and trying something out of the box. New Zealand couple, Gregg Smith and Lynette Bailey, have done just that. After visiting Queensland's gem fields years ago, they now spend every winter digging for precious stones in their own underground sapphire mine at Rubyvale.
