Blackpool MP Paul Maynard urges Immigration Minister to end use of Metropole Hotel for asylum seekers

Blackpool MP Paul Maynard has urged the Government to end the use of a hotel in the resort as accommodation for asylum seekers.Around 400 asylum seekers are currently housed in the Metropole Hotel on the Promenade.The UK Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick says he wants to end the use of hotels for the purpose and suggested that Blackpool could be in the first wave to be ‘stood down’.
