BJP will implement UCC in Himachal: CM Jairam Thakur

BJP National President J P Nadda released the party's manifesto for Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections alongside Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on November 6.Reacting on the party manifesto, CM Jairam Thakur said, “It is highly significant. We believe the BJP is essential because it is a national party. Although there are technical considerations, a committee is being formed. We'll continue along the road that appears. Our commitment is to implement UCC, and we will do it”. “OPS (Old Pension Scheme) is a topic that is being thought about. Although we haven't announced it, we won't be stopping it. Similar announcements were made by Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh ten months ago in a way similar to how they're (Congress) trying to do it now. However, nothing has been done”, he added.
