'Impact of waste traps on marine life must be studied'

Waste traps cannot be placed at sea to collect rubbish near island resorts if they can have a negative impact on marine life.State tourism, environment, heritage and culture committee chairman K. Raven Kumar said the state would have to study the matter carefully before using marine waste traps at the tourist attractions.
