India Today Conclave East: Lt Gen Rana Pratap Kalita on Agnipath scheme, future of Agniveers | Watch

At the India Today Conclave East 2022, Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army’s Eastern Command, spoke about the Centre’s Agnipath scheme. Lt General Kalita, in the session titled, “HOT BUTTON: Agniveers on Agnipath: A Reform Required or a Disaster-in-Waiting”said that by mid 2030s, Agniveers will account for 50 per cent of the armed forces.
