SC upholds clean chit to PM Modi in Gujarat Riot case

The Supreme Court of India has upheld the clean chit given by the Gujarat High Court to PM Narendra Modi in the Gujarat Riot case. The apex court, while dismissing the petition filed by Zakia Jafri in the Gujarat Riot case, observed that the plea was devoid of merit. They added that the SC upholds the order of the magistrate that had accepted the report filed by the SIT granting PM Modi a clean chit.
