ADF personnel deployed to the Northern Rivers, as infrastructure damage hampers flood recovery efforts

900 Australian Defence Force personnel are being deployed to the New South Wales Northern Rivers to assist in the flood clean-up. The Premier Dominic Perrottet has visited one of the worst hit areas, Lismore, where at least five people have died. He says not a dollar will be spared in an effort to rebuild the town.
