Amid surge in cases, fresh curbs in Delhi, UP & Rajasthan

The Centre on Tuesday asked states to impose night curfew and strictly regulate large gatherings amid a surge in cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant in different parts of the country. Several states have reported a surge in infections especially Omicron cases which have prompted the states to go back to imposing night curfew to restrict movement of people and contain the spread of Omicron Covid variant.
