Red alert in 5 Tamil Nadu districts; waterlogging continues in Chennai

As heavy rains continued to pound Chennai, several parts of the city were inundated on November 10. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in Cuddalore, Viluppuram, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, and Karaikal for today.
