Mythology is recited on the day of Chhath Puja. According to mythological beliefs, on the third day of Surya Shashthi i.e. Chhath Puja, Suryadev stays with his wife Pratyusha in the evening. That is why Pratyusha gets Arghya by offering Sandhya Arghya. Offering arghya to Pratyusha gives benefits. During this, the fasting people keep a fast for 36 hours continuously. He does not even take water during the fast. Along with getting children, this fast is also kept for the happiness and prosperity of the family.छठ पूजा के दिन पौराणिक कथा का पाठ किया जाता है. पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, सूर्य षष्ठी यानी कि छठ पूजा के तीसरे दिन शाम के वक्त सूर्यदेव अपनी पत्नी प्रत्यूषा के साथ रहते हैं. इसीलिए संध्या अर्घ्य देने से प्रत्यूषा को अर्घ्य प्राप्त होता है. प्रत्यूषा को अर्घ्य देने से लाभ मिलता है. इस दौरान व्रतधारी लगातार 36 घंटे का व्रत रखते हैं. व्रत के दौरान वह पानी भी ग्रहण नहीं करते हैं. यह व्रत संतान प्राप्ति के साथ-साथ परिवार की सुख-समृद्धि के लिए भी रखा जाता है.#ChhathPuja2021 #ChhathPujaKatha
