Bhubaneswar & Puri Break Rainfall Record, Red Warning Issued For Several Odisha Districts

As anticipated on Sunday, Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar has recorded the wettest September as it witnessed a rainfall of 195mm during the period between September 12 (8:30AM) and September 13 (8:30AM). This reportedly is the highest downpour in a day in 63 years. Before this, it was in 9th September 1958, that Bhubaneswar had recorded a record rainfall of 163 mm in a single day.
