Robert Williams was interviewed after the Celtics lost to the Nets. Williams had a historic performance, breaking Bill Russell’s postseason block record with 11 PTS, 9 REB and 9 BLK. On dealing with turf toe and suffering an injury against Washington, Williams said “It's going to be pain never regardless, you know what I'm saying? It's just as much pain as you can take...so when I'm out there my adrenaline, the excitement of the game and kind of overtakes the pain.”On how he’s planning on tackling the issue and if he had ever gotten this many blocks before, Williams said “You know it's just a delicate situation. It's really pain tolerance, you feel me? And no, actually I haven't gotten this many blocks in a game, ever. But don't mean s*** if we lose, man.”Boston’s defensive effort was improved, and Williams was a force to be reckoned with when on the floor. “Yeah, I feel like we played solid defense tonight,” said Williams. Obviously, we could have played a lot better defense, and you're not saying you can't.
