India on Friday recorded a new high of 4,14,188 new Covid-19 cases, taking the caseload to 2,14,91,598, according to the Union Health Ministry, amid growing calls from several quarters for a national lockdown.During the second wave of the pandemic, Maharashtra has registered more than 18,000 Covid-related deaths in just four months.
