COVID: With more than 3 lakh cases, India records world’s highest single-day spike

For the first time, more than 3 lakh COVID-19 cases were registered in a single day in India on April 21. As many as 3,15,660 cases and 2,091 deaths were recorded in the country as of 11.15 p.m. IST on April 21.
