Delhi records 167 Covid deaths and 24,375 cases on Saturday

Saturday was yet another disturbing day for India in regard to the prevailing Covid-19 crisis in the country as Delhi and Maharashtra broke their previous records of highest single-day spike. Together, the duo recorded nearly 91,500 new Covid-19 cases. Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure, the Delhi government made home quarantine of 14 days mandatory for Delhi residents returning from the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar.
