TMC releases clip of BJP's Mukul Roy discussing ways to influence EC

The clip released by BJP has triggered an audio war in poll-bound Bengal as the Trinamool has now put out a counter audiotape of a conversation between two leaders of the saffron party. TMC has alleged that BJP’s Mukul Roy can be heard briefing party leader Shishir Bajoria on ways to influence the Election Commission {EC) in the purported audio clip. In the audio clip, Mukul Roy tells Shishir Bajoria that they must approach the EC asking for changes in rules so that others are allowed to be booth agents and not just in localities or else BJP won't be able to give agents in a large section of booths, TMC has alleged. "Days later the EC acted as was described on the phone," TMC said on Sunday during a press briefing.
