CBI Additional Director Praveen Sinha took charge on Thursday as the acting chief of the agency after the superannuation of incumbent Rishi Kumar Shukla. A Gujarat-cadre IPS officer of 1988 batch, Sinha has served in the agency as superintendent of police, deputy inspector general, joint director and additional director in two stints between 2000 and 2021.प्रवीण सिन्हा को सीबीआई का नया निदेशक बनाया गया है. इसको लेकर केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से आदेश जारी कर दिया गया है. जानकारी के अनुसार, प्रवीण सिन्हा इससे पहले अपर निदेशक के पद पर तैनात थे. प्रवीण सिन्हा बिहार के रहने वाले हैं और गुजरात कैडर के 1988 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी हैं. सीबीआई ने कहा कि सिन्हा इससे पहले 2000-2021 के बीच दो कार्यकालों में पुलिस अधीक्षक, डीआईजी, संयुक्त निदेशक और अतिरिक्त निदेशक के रूप में एजेंसी में काम कर चुके हैं. #CBI #PraveenSinha #CBIChief #OneindiaHindi
