Curbs imposed over crowding, not because of new UK Covid strain; have warned people: BMC commissioner

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) chief Iqbal Chahal said on Tuesday that the night curfew and other curbs have imposed in Mumbai beacuse of people flouting norms and not over new UK Covid strain. He said that residents have been warned and asked to take precaution, otherwise, action will be taken against violators.
