BJP has announced Sushil Modi as its candidate for the by-election to be held in a Rajya Sabha seat in Bihar. This seat is vacant after the demise of LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan. LJP contested alone in the recently held Bihar assembly elections. After which BJP has decided to claim this seat.
