The preparations are on full swing for ‘Chhath Puja’ in Patna. Sale of puja essentials picked up pace. ‘Chhath Puja’ is one of the prominent festivals of Bihar. According to Hindu mythology, ‘Chhath Puja’ is dedicated to Lord Surya and ‘Chhathi Maiya’, known to be sister of Surya. ‘Chhath Puja’ will be celebrated from Oct 31 to Nov 03, this year.
