Rahul Gandhi accompanied by Congress Party leaders like Randeep Surjewala and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was physically stopped as he attempted to reach Hathras to meet the rape-victim’s family. The convoy was first stopped by UP Police and as he attempted to walk on the Yamunanagar Highway, he was surrounded by UP Policemen and arrested.
