Initialement prévu du 27 juin au 19 juillet, le Tour de France se déroulera sur le parcours prévu, sans changement, de Nice à Paris, du samedi 29 août au dimanche 20 septembre 2020. L’accent est mis sur une visite de l’ensemble des massifs montagneux du territoire : l’étalement, la variété et la raideur atypique des ascensions mettront à disposition des grimpeurs ambitieux des opportunités tout au long de l’épreuve, de l’arrivée d’Orcières-Merlette au chrono de la Planche-des-Belles-Filles, en passant par le Puy Mary, le Grand Colombier ou le col de la Loze en surplomb de Méribel.The Tour de France 2020 defining characteristic is the inclusion of all the mountain ranges in France.
