PH can win Tg Piai although some constituents still think I’m Umno president, says Dr M

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is confident of winning the Tanjung Piai by-election, with signs showing many voters who supported Barisan Nasional (BN) in the last general election are now supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH).The Bersatu chairman however added that some constituents still regard him as UMNO president and he would be going to the ground to campaing and correct that perception. Dr Mahathir spoke to reporters after chairing a Bersatu Supreme Council meeting on Monday.
