Seoul City government says additional 392 electric buses will be in service by end of year

Using around 20 million U.S. dollars from its Green New Deal budget, the city will add an extra 166 electric buses to its fleet in the second half of the year.The buses will start operating from October. By the end of the year, there will be almost 400 electric buses operating in Seoul. In addition to being better for the environment, the buses are much quieter and will save the city two-point-three million U.S. dollars in annual operating costs.The city also said that, by the end of 2021, it's aiming to have a full fleet of eco-friendly buses on Seoul's streets.
