Lawyer Siti Kasim questioned at MCMC HQ over social media post

Lawyer and activist Siti Kasim was questioned for about three hours by Bukit Aman's Special Investigations Unit with assistance from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on Thursday (June 18) over posts she made on social media in May. According to Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed, Siti would be investigated under Section 505 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
