Ismail Sabri: Sabah has the authority to require all travellers to undergo mandatory screening

When asked to comment on complaints made by some travellers who are required to undergo Covid-19 tests at their own expense to enter Sabah, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the ruling was understandable as the Sabah government was concerned about the risk of infection. He said the state government has the authority to require all travellers to undergo mandatory screening.
