Bollywood Flashback: Dilip Kumar, Raaj Kumar, Manisha Koirala At Saudagar Movie Premiere

Directed by Subhash Ghai, Saudagar starred Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar, in the leading roles (their second collab after their 1959 film Paigham). It featured the debut performances of Vivek Mushran and Manisha Koirala. The movie also starred Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Gulshan Grover, Dina Pathak and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The story line was influenced by Romeo and Juliet and Mandhaari's role is parallel to that of Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet.
