Jammu-Kashmir: BJP leader attacked by terrorists in Phulwama

A BJP leader in Jammu and Kashmir was attacked by unknown assailants or terrorists in Phulwama district. BJP’s Anwar Khan was attacked by terrorists in Balhama village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Phulwana on Thursday. A personal security officer of Khan was injured in the attack. According to an official, the BJP leader was accompanied by two of his security guards when he was fired upon by the terrorists near the Arash Medical college in Balhama. The terrorists also tried to snatch the service rifles from the security guards, but since the guards retaliated, the terrorists fled the spot. A search operation for the terrorists is on.
