The results for the Uttar Pradesh and Bihar by-polls declared on Wednesday were not in favour of BJP. Samajwadi party secured a massive victory in the Gorakhpur and Phulpur Lok Sabh assembly seats which were vacated when UP CM Yogi Adtiyanath and UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya were elected to state legislature.
