Local man washes BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's feet, drinks same water

Nishikant Dubey, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Jharkhand's Godda, courted controversy by allowing a local party worker to wash his feet and then drink the same water during a party event on Sunday. A video of the incident shared by news agency ANI went viral on social media with people criticising the BJP leader and demanding his apology. In the video, BJP worker Pawan Shah is seen cleaning the feet of the BJP MP. He later wiped them from a cloth and drunk the same water amid loud cheer from the audience and a smile from Dubey.
