Polls Result: Gandhi bastion falls, Smriti Irani defeats Rahul Gandhi

Smriti Irani creates history by defeating Rahul Gandhi in his bastion i.e. Amethi. Speaking to media she said, "I had been in Amethi being a defeated candidate for last five years and now I'll serve people of Amethi as their MP." Rahul Gandhi was left far behind by BJP's Smriti Irani by over 40,000 votes.
