Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin revealed that the government has revoked the licences of 62 private security firms since 2013 for a range of offences. Some of the offences include the hiring of illegal immigrants as guards, failing to carry out security screenings on employees, and offences involving firearms.He revealed this during a meeting with the security services industry and private agencies in conjunction with the briefing of the licence renewal of private agencies for 2020 in Putrajaya on Wednesday.
