Seoul's vice unification minister may meet N. Korean officials at joint liaison office this week

통일부 차관, 이번 주 금요일에 공동연락사무소 방문... 북측 인사 면담 "협의 중"Newly-appointed Vice Unification Minister Suh Ho, who doubles as Seoul's director of the inter-Korean joint liaison office, is to visit the office for the first time on Friday.The unification ministry says it's discussing with the North whether there should be a meeting between the two sides when Suh visits. Seoul is to propose to the North having meetings between the South and North Korean directors of the office only when necessary, instead of every Friday, mainly because the North's representative hasn't shown up since February after the Hanoi summit fell apart.
