AAP government proposed free bus, metro travel for Delhi women passengers; Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

After a massive poll debacle in the Lok Sabha Polls, AAP govt makes a big announcement, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today announced that his government will make bus & metro rides free for women. Arvind Kejriwal also said that they will make not only metro ride but also DTC ride free for women. Kejriwal claims that the move will reduce pollution levels and also endure that people take more to public transport. Several cities in Europe have already made public transport free. Amidst India’s traffic woes, it now remains to be seen if we too will go down a similar path.
