Oh received the majority of votes from the 24 lawmakers present.He'll take the baton from Kim Kwan-young who stepped down amid tensions within the party over the recent fast-tracking of key reform bills.Kim had replaced some of his party's lawmakers on key parliamentary committees that had been against the move and said would vote against it.The new floor leader will be tasked with bringing the party together as well as preparing for next year's general elections.In his acceptance speech, Oh promised to work on bills related to improving people's livelihoods.
