South Korea is rolling out stronger restrictions on diesel emissions to tackle the fine dust crisis. The Ministry of Environment says the government will start a 40-day legislation notice period on Monday to set new standards for nitrogen oxide emissions of diesel-powered vehicles.The new regulations are expected to more accurately measure emissions as they will check numbers while the vehicles are actually are on the road,... unlike the in-house testings of the past. The ministry says it will continue to set stronger regulations to reduce fine dust.
