Samarthan for Inmates: Initiative to Improve Mental Health of Tihar jail Inmates

Tihar jail inmates gets a helping hand through project Samarthan. Through Samarthan project, a counselling session is being organised to improve the mental fitness of the inmates. An event will be organised at the NDMC convention centre on 16th April. This project aims at improving the mental situation and behaviour of inmates in Tihar jail. Tihar jail in collaboration with AIIMS and an NGO called mental health foundation has been running this program since the last year to better the health of prisoners in Tihar jail.
