Lok Sabha Polls 2019, Karnataka: Congress-JDS Deal on Friday; Will Rahul Gandhi Bend For HD Kumaraswamy

Amidst announcement of poll dates scheduled by the ECI, JD(S) Supremo HD Devegowda has set Friday as the deadline for finalising the seat sharing deal. However the deadlock still continues over seat sharing. Screening committee talks are set to resume after the CWC meet. While Congress has cleared Hassan, Mandya, Uttara Kannada and Shivamogga for JDS. Discussion over seats in the old Mysore region still continues. Former state CM Siddaramaiah is unwilling to give away seats in Mysore, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur and Bangalore north stating that congress would be wiped out if it does so.
