Rahul Gandhi will lead congress in Elections, and not Priyanka Gandhi - NewsX

Amidst speculation on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's role in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in the Congress, party spokesperson Ajay Maken has said that she will campaign only in Amethi and Rae Bareli. Congress sources have also said that Priyanka will monitor the Congress's campaigns across India.Priyanka Gandhi's meeting with senior Congress leaders last week had created a buzz. Priyanka held a meeting with a few senior Congress leaders in New Delhi on January 7 and with party Vice President Rahul Gandhi not attending the meeting, the development had sparked speculations that she could be playing a bigger role in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
