Communal riots in India: Muzaffarnagar riots - Death toll rises to twenty six after deadly riots

Muzaffarnagar in Uttar pradesh continues to be on the edge. 4 BJP MLAs and a congress leader are among the 40 people booked for inciting mobs in the district, where at least 26 people have died and over 40 injured in communal violence over the weekend.According to UP police, 90 people have been arrested so far. The Army has been conducting flag marches in several areas since Sunday.
